Indian-American actor Dileep Rao received the phone call of his life when he landed the role of “Dr. Max Patel” in the Hollywood box-office hit, Avatar, directed by James Cameron. Soon after, director Christopher Nolan gave him the chance to play “Yusuf” in one of the most buzzed about films of 2010, Inception. Inception, starring Leonardo Dicaprio, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy, Ken Watanabe, Marion Cotillard, and Dileep Rao is currently the #1 movie in America.

Vote Ellie For Oprah

So here’s your shameless plug for the day!

Picture 17

My dream in this little old life is to have my own talk show. The possibility of that ever coming true seemed way too far-fetched even for my imagination. Then this woman, I’m not to sure if you’ve ever heard of her, but she goes by the name of Oprah, decided to give someone the chance to have their own talk show. So here I am auditioning and asking for you all to vote for me. If you believe in my concept and in me, please vote and give me the chance to represent minorities and to make a difference.

Peter Chung is the perfect comic book story except he doesn’t save women from burning buildings and stop cars with one hand. Similar to Clark Kent, Chung is an accountant by day, and an emcee by night. Virginia’s upcoming rapper, Sickboi sat down with Yours truly to talk music, passion, Koreans in Virginia and what to expect from the talented emcee.

AAtheory and Seriously The Band Collaboration

stb_20100509_seoulbeats
I’m just a fan of their music, their on-stage persona, and the people they are when the cameras aren’t flashing and the lights aren’t shining. Four of the most down-to-earth guys I know, Seriously, is one of the fastest rising AA bands in America. They have an incredible passion for the craft and know how to rock a crowd.

I got the chance to sit down with the talented four-some to get to know the guys behind the music. Enjoy the first installment of AAtheory Wheel of Fortune.

EMT: Clara Chung is everything you want in a musician

Picture 7

As a female, I’m always semi-nervous to meet a female entertainer to interview because you never know what kind of “woman” the other party will be like. To my relief, Clara Chung was literally everything you admire in a person and in a musician. She’s Youtube’s new buzz and a rising star in the AA entertainment community. I had the privilege to sit down with the Kollaboration LA 10 winner to talk music, fans, and future plans.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy another installment of EMT:

I never say this about anybody but Clara’s got that “IT” factor and she’s so incredibly marketable, not only because she’s a gifted musician/singer/songwriter, but because her personality shines through her words, music, and smile. To learn more about Clara Chung, visit her Youtube page here.
