James-Jay-Lee, has been ID’d as the Discovery Channel gunman who took 3 people for hostage this afternoon at the Discovery Channel headquarters in Maryland. Lee, who runs an organization called Save the Planet Protest, walked into the building with an explosive device strapped on himself and a gun. He “claimed that the channel’s programs actually cause harm to the government.”

1. The Discovery Channel and its affiliate channels MUST have daily television programs at prime time slots based on Daniel Quinns My Ishmael pages 207-212 where solutions to save the planet would be done in the same way as the Industrial Revolution was done, by people building on each others inventive ideas. Focus must be given on how people can live WITHOUT giving birth to more filthy human children since those new additions continue pollution and are pollution. A game show format contest would be in order.

2. All programs on Discovery Health-TLC must stop encouraging the birth of any more parasitic human infants and the false heroics behind those actions.

3. All programs promoting War and the technology behind those must cease. There is no sense in advertising weapons of mass-destruction anymore. Instead, talk about ways to disassemble civilization and concentrate the message in finding SOLUTIONS to solving global military mechanized conflict.

10. Stop all shows glorifying human birthing on all your channels and on TLC. Stop Future Weapons shows or replace the dialogue condemning the people behind these developments so that the shows become exposes rather than advertisements of Arms sales and development!

11. Youre also going to find solutions for unemployment and housing. All these unemployed people makes me think the US is headed toward more war. “I want Discovery Communications to broadcast on their channels to the world their new program lineup and I want proof they are doing so. I want the new shows started by asking the public for inventive solution ideas to save the planet and the remaining wildlife on it.” Nothing is more important than saving … the Lions, Tigers, Giraffes, Elephants, Froggies, Turtles, Apes, Raccoons, Beetles, Ants, Sharks, Bears, and, of course, the Squirrels. The humans? The planet does not need humans.”

Nicole John, the daughter of the U.S. Ambassador to Thailand, Eric John, lost his daughter last night in Manhattan after she accidentally fell to her death from the 25th floor at Herald Square Towers on W. 34th St. at around 4:15 a.m.

The 17-year-old had been partying and drinking at a posh Manhattan nightclub before heading to the Towers to party further, said police.

Supposedly John had taken her shoes off, “climbed out of the window and onto a ledge when she plunged to her death” Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said.

Investigators found a camera next to her body that led them “to believe she had climbed outside to take pictures.”

John recently graduated from the International School in Bangkok and had plans to start classes at Parsons School of Design this fall.

Ilan Nassimi, 25, is being charged with “unlawful dealing with a child for handing out to booze to someone under the age of 21,” for hosting the party which ultimately led to John’s death.

Michael Enright was arrested when he brutally stabbed a cabbie for being Muslim.

The 21-year-old who was apparently drunk asked the cabbie if he was Muslim and when Ahmed H Sharif answered yes, Enright stabbed him a total of 8 times. He has now been charged with “attempted second-degree murder as a hate crime and is awaiting arraignment.”

Enright, who is a student of the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, had recently taken a trip to Afghanistan where he was filming a movie on the US Marines.

Sharif was stabbed on his arms, face, and throat. The cabbie was interviewed about the incident on local news:

Sharif said, “I have been here more than 25 years. I have been driving a taxi more than 15 years. All my four kids were born here. I never feel this hopeless and insecure before.”

The incident has put a very dark cloud over the recent controversy regarding the mosque being built near Ground Zero and a spokesperson told US Today, ”Right now the public sentiment is very serious.”

Miss Mexico, Jimena Navarrete, 23, won the coveted Miss Universe award last night, beating 83 other equally beautiful contestants. Navarrete answered two questions about the Arizona’s recent immigration law that helped her win the grand prize and as she won, she said, “Every country has the right to impose and enact their laws. But I tell you that all the Mexicans and the Latins that are living here in the United States are hardworking people — people who want to improve on their quality of life.”

Miss Philippines, Venus Raj, was the only Asian country to make it to the top 15.

Michael Ian Black, a hilarious comedian and staunch supporter of President Obama, lost it on an audience member during one of his comedic gigs when the person compared Obama to Hitler. Instead of brushing it off, Black, who is of Jewish descent, brought out the cusses and the comeback of the century when faced with the ignorant, excuse my French, prick.

Jonathan Lee, 13, just came back from a visit to promote his idea for a “children’s peace forest” between North and South Korea. When I was thirteen, I worried about getting stuffed in trash cans during my freshman year of high school and still trying to get American boys to notice me.

The Korean-American from Mississippi spent eight days touring the demilitarized zone (DMZ) in North Korea. Lee said that while government officials were keen on his idea, they would not agree to anything until the U.S. agrees to sign a peace treaty to officially end the war. Lee also went on to state that “both sides want reunification and that Korea is one, so I see hope on the Korean peninsula.” Pretty mature for a 13-year-old boy.

Jonathan went on this trip with his parents, Kyoung and Melissa Lee, who initially expressed some concern over his decision to travel to North Korea. However, by the end of the trip, his mother said, “For him to want to do this on his own, I’m fairly proud of him. He may not have met (Kim), but the fact that he did it was something.”

Man, not meeting Kim Jong Il must feel like getting 98 points on a 100-point test.

The severe flooding in Pakistan is now considered worse than the 2004 tsunami according to the U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. After almost a month of heavy rains and dangerous floods, the statistics have come in, and the numbers are staggering:

20 million Pakistanis are affected by the flood
1,500 people are feared dead
2 million are now homeless
3.5 million children are risking dysentery from exposure to dirty water
$460 million is the estimated cost of flood relief
$93 million is how much the country has right now

However, the health of the Pakistanis is not the only thing plaguing the government. Aid has been arriving at a slow pace, and the people are getting impatient. People have demonstrated by burning tires and shouting, “down with the government.” Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmoud Qureshi is worried of insurgents taking advantage of the situation and taking control.
