Artist of the Day: Paperdoll
Fronted by Chinese American lead singer, Teresa Lee, the New York indie-rock band is quickly making waves in the music industry. Their new single, “If Nothing Happened” has been featured on the Today Show,in Blender Magazine’s “Five New Songs We Love”, and Deli Magazine dubbed Paperdoll “Good for your Health.” The MV for their single took one day, slices of New York pizza, quick changes of several multi-colored shirts, and one kick ass editor and director.

In person, Teresa and guitarist Patrick Moloney are down-to-earth, enthusiastic and their love for music shine through their personalities. I’m a huge fan of talented artists who know how to keep it real while churning out addictive music and creative music videos, and this my readers is exactly what Paperdoll does and is. Their album, “Ballad Nerd Pop”, which can be found on Amazon and iTunes, features 10 tracks of good ole’ indie rock music and if I were you, I’d get my hands on one now.
