You’re doing what to get your ex back?

This story baffles me. Xiaoqing, a 21-year-old from Shanghai told the Shanghai Daily that she plans to undergo intensive plastic surgery for “not only herself” but “for her ex-boyfriend.” She says, “I am a psychologically weak person. I want to do something to challenge myself and build a strong personality through it.”
You know it’s normal for both women and men to believe that if they fix their outward appearance, their inward appearance will magically become stronger. Is this notion completely false? Absolutely but Xiaoqing doesn’t believe so. But here comes the crazy part. The only reason she’s getting an eyebrow lifting, eyelid reshaping, and nose reconstruction is to look like Jessica Alba. Why? Oh because her ex-boyfriend is obsessed with the starlet and Xiaoqing believes that if she looks more like Alba she can win him back. She went on to say that her ex forced her to wear her make-up like the actress even when she slept and bought her a blonde wig for Christmas in which he told her to wear at all times. The newspaper quoted her saying, ”I love him very much…. that’s why I always followed his opinions. I don’t want to lose him.” The doctors have also agreed to do the surgery for free.
If that’s not a low self-esteemed, emotionally, psychologically, and mentally weak person then I don’t know what is. It’s just incredibly disheartening to know there are women like this in the world who would succumb to such lows to please a man. Xiaoqing, I don’t know you, but you should know you’re beautiful and strong. Find someone who can find that in you!
Dumb&Dumber!! Great!! Reshape yourself according to your loser Bf’s wants and needs. You’ll do it again for the next one, the one after that; over and over again until you become empty on the outside as well. She’s going to fall out of love eventually… Hope she won’t regret what she’s done when that time comes. I’ve seen her pic, she’s already pretty. All she needs is to fix her low self esteem. Or maybe she can find some surgeon to fix that for her as well >_>
