Model of the Day: Charo Ronquillo

Born in the Philippines, 21-year-old model Charo Ronquillo entered the Ford Supermodel of the World event in 2006 and placed third. A year later, she moved to NYC to to pursue a modeling career and has appeared in such editorials like Teen Vogue, Marie Claire, and Ann Taylor.
Can you believe she’s full Filipina? She looks mixed! Ronquillo was featured in the February 2010 issue of US Glamour.

Really? Her features definitely look mixed with Caucasian, so it’s hard to believe she doesn’t have some Spanish somewhere in her ancestry.
That’s beside the point, though: She’s lovely! Yay for Pinoy recognition in the States!

Most piny like in my family are mixed with Spanish.At least they “look” like they are mixed with Spanish. I’ve seen some Filipino men I’ve accidentally mistaken as being Hispanic.I think Filipino people are gorgeous and have unique features.
