“Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda” Taken The Chance

What has there not been said about Bay Area native, Filipino American world-reowned dancer/choreographer Shaun Evaristo? Exactly. A lot has been said.

Though, if you need a little bit of the basics. He’s basically the creative mind behind the choreography for many big-name artists in the U.S. and Asia, such as Omarion and Big Bang, respectively.

So, skipping the small stuff, Evaristo’s latest contribution to the YouTube community is a video piece directed by San Francisco-based Kanauru Productions.

The choreography is set to Drake’s “Little Bit” (featuring Lykke Li) and features another Bay Area native and Evaristo’s “main leading lady,” dancer Aimee Lucas.

Now, I’m hella into choreography that interweaves a story (as it keeps my attention) and this video definitely delivers. The dance piece is about finding love, regretting to take that extra step, and in the end, imagining “what could have been.”

The piece is titled, “Visions of a Love Unknown” and every little bit of the video really does give off the feeling of “coulda, woulda, shoulda.”

Pretty appropriate title and message, if you ask me, especially since Valentine’s Day is coming up in a couple of weeks.

  1. They are both very brilliant dancers! They’re probably my favorite choreographers alive. They have this style of dance that’s different from others.
