Besides the unveiling of Cha’s new sassy concept image, DJ Barry “Oz” Harris (musician and remixer) who worked with Madonna, Whitney Houston to Celine Dion and Mary J. Blige has just released a snippet of Charice’s single, Pyramid - the club/dance remix.

Listen here.  Do you think this version will top the dance charts?

Pyramid’s remix version will be available on iTunes, February 23rd.  Keep a look out!

Whoa!!!!! That’s not Charice, it can’t be!!!! She’s all grown up!!! More charming than ever!!

Anyways, the remix is indeed very fresh. Can’t wait for the other remixes especially from Lady Gaga’s Dance/Song producer for Paparazi, Bad Romance, and Poker Face Grammy nominated DJ Dave Aude who also listed Pyramid as one of his first remixes for 2010 in his website.

This will definitely top the charts. If her religious themed rookie ballad peaked @ #44 on the Billboard 100 charts, then this one surely will. Good luck to you Charice.

lucky girl has also met suju! ;D
shes actually good. hope she gets far.

  4. Dylan says:

Interestingly (or maybe predictably), when she switches to dance music instead of diva showstopping numbers, her vocals don’t seem that special. Hope she can finds music that brings out her voice’s distinctiveness.

I am so excited! Been waiting for ages for Pyramid’s release. Now, the wait is almost over!

In addition to Barry Harris and Dave Aude, Jonathan Peters & Ruff Loaderz apparently will be releasing their remix version of Pyramid. Looks like Warner is sparing no expense with Charice’s debut album.

The song is not really catchy. On the bright side, they’re not dressing Charice like it’s her baptism day or something.

The song sounds catchy enough. I would say it’s a matter of preference. There’s a lot of hit songs that, at first, probably sounded really annoying or boring, but things end up growing on you. With this song, I predict the same. Though it might not be a hit instantly, I know it’ll gain radio play & gain a lot of followers. We’ll all just have to see what happens to Charice in the upcoming months.
