Kelly Hu’s Almost Perfect Boyfriend

Kelly Hu, the beautiful 41 year-old (but doesn’t look it!) Chinese-American actress from The Scorpion King and X-Men 2, will be staring in a new film by the name of “Almost Perfect”. Yes, it’s another romantic comedy, but I love that genre so I’m perfectly fine with it. In the film, Hu will play the role of a “career woman” who separates herself from anything unrelated to her work. She falls in love with the “perfect guy” but just when things begin to warm up between the two and a few kisses are shared, her family crumbles apart. So, she has to save her family and her romance.
Sounds intriguing. The movie will be directed by the award-winning Bertha Bay-Sa Pan, and will take the official title as an “indie romantic comedy”. The release date will be some time in 2010, as they are currently filming.
Oh, and I thought this would be worth mentioning: there are quite a few attractive Asian men co-starring.

I’ve seen Ivan Shaw act in other shows… but I must say, he’s acting skill is worse than Keanu Reeves’.
